You were once a ruler of one of many islands that dotted The Isle of Nott… and when the hungry sea came to sweep your kingdom away you struck a desperate bargain with one of The Breathless Ones. You offered a piece of yourself to live beyond the woeful moment. As the sea took your kingdom, it devoured the world’s memory of the place… and you. Now, a fraction of you strains to live on as the rest of you drowns. You’ll join that corpse soon enough. But not today.
